Every word of God is flawless;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

“The sense is that God’s words (spoken and written) are both flawless and shown to be true. Wisdom about the world is not independent of God, but is based on the prior assumption that God is actively ruling over the world as King.”

A Prayer
Grant us, O LORD, to take refuge in you. Your word has proven true and trustworthy. Where else can we go, Lord? You have the words of eternal life. Help us to see this and live accordingly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
