A Comment
The apostle Paul was acutely aware of his unworthiness, yet full of gratefulness for God’s grace toward him in Christ Jesus. When we remember the condition in which Christ found us and even reflect on the lack of progress that we have made in holiness since that day, let us recall that Christ came into the world to save sinners.
A Prayer
O’ LORD, as Your children, do not let us lose our wonder. May Your grace continue to be amazing in our eyes. Help us to never get over this trustworthy statement, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. In His name, Amen.
