Psalm 145:3 (NIV)
Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
His greatness no one can fathom.
A Comment
It is important for us to be reminded to reflect on God’s greatness as an end in itself. His greatness existed before we did. While it is certainly true that God’s greatness is good for us, God’s greatness is also good simply because it is. And because of His greatness, He is worthy of our praise.
A Prayer
LORD, help us to see your greatness that we might praise you. You are worthy of our praise. Your greatness is unsearchable.
A Blessing
O LORD, bless us with the privilege of proclaiming your great deeds. Grant us to tell of your awesome works. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear the wonders of your glory. Amen.
