It's Finally Here!
Known for Love: Loving Your LGBTQ Friends and Family without Compromising Biblical Truth
As promised, here’s the big announcement: my first book, Known for Love: Loving Your LGBTQ Friends and Family without Compromising Biblical Truth, will be released on June 4th.
If you or someone you know has ever struggled with navigating the various debates and issues surrounding sexuality and gender in our current cultural moment, this book has been written for you. You can click the image below to see the book on Amazon.
In Known for Love, I provide a biblical and theological framework for navigating the difficult situations we encounter with family and friends. Drawing from a well of faithful biblical scholars, I attempted to provide insights for everyday Christians living in a sexually broken world. I hope that Known for Love will give you the wisdom and courage you need to live into these days with faithful and truly loving hearts.
For those interested, here is a preview draft of the Table of Contents, which is subject to change a little before publishing:
As mentioned, the book will be released on June 4, but preorders are available now. If you want to preorder the book, please do so through your favorite online bookstore. Here is the Amazon link. If you preorder, you should receive the book on or a little before its official release date. If you are a ministry leader in your church and would like to buy copies in bulk to give away or for your small groups, email me at CaseyBHough@gmail.com, and I can contact Moody Publishers. As I understand it, a free small group resource is being created to accompany the book for churches and ministries.
As the book rolls out over the next few weeks, I’ll share more, but I’ll also do my best not to make this newsletter primarily about the book release. I still intend for this newsletter to be a source of hope from God’s word for God’s people. But I also wanted to share this big announcement with you first because you have been so faithful to pray for me.
As you continue to pray for me, I will make two specific requests. First, the next few months are going to be busy. So, pray that I will look to the Lord for my strength and security. Second, pray that God will use the book in the lives of those wrestling with these questions. Pray they would be emboldened to love others well without compromising God’s truth.
With every fiber of my being, I believe in Christ's power to transform lives through His gospel. There is no need to be hopeless in the midst of hard situations. For Christ lived, died, rose again, and is coming again. Because these things are true, we can love others well without compromising the foundation of our love, which is God’s truth revealed in His Word.
Thank you for your continued support. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His peace.
