Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
A Comment
Obedience to God’s law is not a loveless act of duty. Rather, it is an act that reveals love to God and others. Where there is no love, there is no true obedience either. Thus, let our hearts be stirred by God’s Word to treat our neighbors with love and thus fulfill the law of Christ.
A Prayer
O’ Father, help us to love others as you have loved us in Christ. We need your grace for such love. Strengthen us, today, for this work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
