A Verse
Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
A Comment
I fear that we often project our own limitations back onto God without truly contemplating not only His greatness but His eagerness to answer requests that are beyond our imagination. God is greater than we can imagine. Our prayers should reflect such greatness.
A Prayer
O’ LORD, stir our hearts to ask great things of You, for Your glory and our good. Forgive us for our small requests which spring from our unbelief. Open our eyes to see You as You are that we might honor You with requests that glorify Your power, which is at work within us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
