Is anything too hard for the LORD?
A Comment
In the face of natural uncertainty, Abraham and Sarah laughed at the prospect of the LORD fulfilling His promise to them. Yet, as the LORD’s question reveals, their expectations did not take into consideration the greatness of the God who was with them. Nothing is too difficult for Him.
A Prayer
O LORD, when we are tempted to laugh and scorn Your promises to us, remind us as You did with Abraham and Sarah. Nothing is too hard for You. With You, all things are possible. Help our unbelief, O LORD. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
A Blessing
May the LORD prosper your work and defend you,
May His goodness and mercy attend you,
May you ponder anew what the Almighty will do,
That you may rejoice with all your heart and that never again any fear will come upon you.
