Ephesians 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
A Comment
Our God is worthy of our praise. He is the blessed God over all who blesses us with every spiritual blessing in Christ. When we ponder His blessings toward us, we ought to be stirred to worship Him. As we will see throughout the rest of Ephesians 1, the apostle Paul cannot help but worship God as he recounts the gracious blessings of God toward His people. If you are struggling to praise God this morning, remember His blessings.
A Prayer
O’ LORD, thank You for who You are and what You have done, are doing, and will continue to do. You have blessed us in Christ. Grant us to behold the glory of Your grace in these blessings that we might praise You rightly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
