A Verse
Ephesians 2:6-7
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
A Comment
As a result of God’s grace, those who have received it have been made alive together with Christ and raised up with Him and seated in a place of security and victory in Christ Jesus. We, as the spoils of Christ’s holy work, have been given a heavenly residence before the heavenly powers that once oppressed us and sought our destruction. God has placed a table for us in the presence of our enemies and guaranteed us that He is present so that our enemies might know that God in Christ is victorious and that we are safe. God’s salvation is complete. God’s salvation guarantees that we will make it home by grace.
