John 13:34
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
A Comment
The standard of our love for others is the love that we see taught and demonstrated in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Thus, if we are to love one another, we must not only know Jesus’ love but be empowered by it as well.
A Prayer
O’ Lord, you have loved us with an everlasting love. As you have loved us, grant us to love one another, that the world may know that we are your disciples. Amen.
A Blessing
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers and sisters. Amen. (Galatians 6:18)
